"Make No Mistake...About Casey..."
Where do I start? Casey was a dream come true, a dog that never ever let down in the ring and thought the whole thing was a blast from the moment she stepped in a match ring at 5 months of age until she left the Veterans ring at 11.5 years old. Casey combined a wonderful "up" attitude in the ring with the most laid back easygoing temperament at home. She was very independent, had no use for obedience training, nor went looking for affection. If you wanted to pet her, you went to her and loved on her. She gladly accepted your kisses. She thought all people, kids included, and dogs were just wonderful.
Casey was the only orange bitch in Tony and Penny's first litter and the beginning of our wonderful friendship. Casey had attitude to burn with a topline when moving that was rock solid, not a bit of body roll. The smooth drive in her rear was there until the day she died. While I have many pictures of Casey that I love, it was Casey in motion that truly took your breath away. She was always owner-handled but I really was there just to hold the end of the lead.
Casey finished easily and that was just the beginning:

- ESAA's Winners Bitch Runner-Up 1995.
- 2nd in her Futurity class at the 1993 ESAA National
- 3rd in her Open class at the 1995 ESAA National

Casey went back to Weymouth to have her one and only litter sired by CH Linwood Merry Prankster. We couldn't have asked for more - six beautiful babies and three went on to wonderful careers in the ring, in addition to having many beautiful grandchildren and beyond.
